Project Longevity New Haven teamed up with the Urban League to engage the Connecticut African American community the importance of wealth building and fiscal responsibility. The widely praised film, Generation One-Building wealth in Communities of Color was screened and followed by a panel of entreprenuers, philanthropist, private sector professionals, community advocates, and Project Longevity New Haven's Stacy Spell for a discussion addressing profound issues involving wealth building, investment, financial principles, and prudent money management to improve the economic status of the African American community.
The audience attendance was phenomenal, and the event attracted people from throughout the state.
